About The Show

We like to drink, and we like to cook, but sometimes we get lonely. This podcast is all about drinking in the middle of the day and trying to convince others to do the same (so we don’t feel so guilty). At the very least we’d like to convince you all to drink more wine!

Each episode will centre around a bottle of wine. We’ll drink it, discuss it, and pair some food with it.  Listen for wine buying tips, top secret wine information, food pairing ideas, and hangover cures.

Warning – some graphic language may ensue.

Nita Boushey: her appreciation for wine grew out of a love for cooking...and eating.  Having graduated from the Sommelier program at Algonquin College in 2010, she regularly experiments with food and wine pairings...

Holly Bruns: graduated from Algonquin’s Sommelier program in 2009 with the Sommelier of Excellence award. She’s only been writing about wine for a year, but is gearing up for the long haul. She has years of drinking experience.

Jason Jaknunas: we can't forget Jason, he records, edits and generally makes us sound much more sober and articulate than we really are. He works for wine which works for us.  Jason and his brother Greg wrote the retro music for the show.
